Our Joy Team Leaders:
• Christalee Froese — This journalist, author and founder of the More Joy Movement will share her experience with depression and anxiety in a way that leaves you empowered and uplifted. Christalee will offer workshops on ‘The Power of Journaling’ and ‘Taming your Inner Critic’.
• Dr. Christine Majeran — Christine is a practicing chiropractor, as well as a life coach and a student of all things designed to empower women to live joyfully. She has studied with some of the world’s best life coaches and practitioners including Martha Beck and Susan Hyatt. Christine will offer sessions on discovering your true joy and purpose.

This is what a typical ‘More Joy Punta Cana’ Day will look like:
1 – Daily Wake-up Ritual: yoga, stretching, beach running, meditative swimming, sand-castle building, etc.
2 – Gourmet Buffet Breakfast
3 – Morning Sessions: these one-hour sessions by breakdown survivor Christalee Froese and Life Coach Dr. Christine Majeran will be light & fun, but will also leave you with lasting ideas, tools and concrete ways to enrich your life:
1 – Tapping into your true purpose – Christine
2 – The Ultimate F…kit Bucket Session: letting your worries go – Christalee
3 – For the love of your body: just say ‘NO’ to dieting – Christine
4 – Journaling for wellness – Christalee
Other topics will include: getting unstuck and making progress toward your ‘best life’; daily rituals for promoting joy; strategies for eliminating mental fatigue and negativity and befriending your Inner Critic – Christalee

4 – Afternoon Activity of choice: options include sunbathing (drink-delivery included), swimming, non-motorized water sports, tennis, resort games, etc. We will be hosting one or two ocean-side massage sessions as well (included in trip price).
5 – Gourmet supper: We will make a group reservation at a different restaurant each night (five a la cartes to choose from), ending with our favourites.
6 — Evening fun: We will attend resort shows, as well as hosting a few private dance parties: Ocean-side ABBA Dance Party & Disco-to-Ourselves Night featuring your favourite songs. (No costumes required and no pressure to participate—this is ALL for fun). The resort has several discos and bars to choose from, as well as a casino.
