Training for our More Joy 5K starts this Monday, May 1.

This is the third annual run/walk and it’s become so much more than a run … it’s hope.

It’s hope for a healthier body and brain, as Mayo Clinic research shows that, “Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier, more relaxed and less anxious.”

It’s also hope for our next counselling candidate who has already started her FREE sessions thanks to the More Joy Movement, “I am in the process but just knowing there is help available and timely help for that matter, gives me JOY and HOPE that all will be well.”

Not only does our candidate get support, but our Facebook group of runners is an amazing source of support as well. We post photos, talk about challenges and victories, and basically lift each other up. Weekly videos highlight the positive connection between mental health and movement, and give you the motivation to keep moving forward in your training.
